What Happens During Your Visit
Dr. Ahmed reviews your symptoms and medical history over video, and determines next steps based on clinical judgment and an appropriate evaluation — which may include a diagnosis, a prescription if clinically appropriate, guidance on at-home care, or a referral for in-person testing or evaluation when needed.
When In-Person or Emergency Care Is Needed
Some symptoms can't be safely evaluated over video and require in-person care. If your symptoms are severe, worsening rapidly, or you're unsure whether they're an emergency, please seek in-person or emergency care rather than waiting for a virtual visit.
Insurance & Cost
We may accept a range of major New York insurance plans, including Medicare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Emblem Health, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, Humana, and more. Coverage, network status, eligibility, and benefits vary by plan and should be verified with our office before your visit. Self-pay is not currently offered.
